Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most common questions families ask.
If your question isn’t answered here, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Do I need a diagnosis to access support?

No. Support should be needs-led, not diagnosis-led.

Do you attend school or local authority meetings?

I can support preparation and understanding around meetings.
Attendance is discussed on a case-by-case basis and depends on scope.

Can you help if my child is not attending school?

Yes. Many of the families I work with have children experiencing EBSA,
burnout, or reduced attendance.

Do you replace school or therapy?

No. Support complements existing provision and does not replace
education, therapy, or clinical services.

What if my child won’t engage?

Engagement looks different for every child. Support is paced around
emotional safety and capacity.

How quickly will things improve?

Progress is individual and non-linear. The focus is on sustainable
wellbeing rather than quick fixes.
